ALL TRIPS INCLUDE professional guiding, gourmet meals, beverages, tents, dry bags, wet suits, river equipment, and, for experienced paddlers, the use of our canoes and kayaks. Combination trip prices include a night at a rustic riverside lodge. TRIP PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE sleeping bags/inflatable pads (available for a $35+tax rental fee); $4/day USFS recreation fee; air transportation described in the FLIGHT OPTION section below; air transportation fees for hard-shell kayaks ($50/kayak) or canoes ($100/canoe) to Indian Creek if necessary.
GROUP RATES ~ A 10% discount off the river trip is available for groups of 10 or more people. Maximum group size allowed is 24 persons. A deposit of $400 per person is required at time of reservation, with the remaining balance due 90 days prior to the launch date.
RESERVATIONS/CANCELLATIONS ~ A $400 deposit will reserve one space. The balance is due, in full, 60 days prior to the launch (90 for groups of 10 or more). If payment is not received by that date, we may regard your reservation as cancelled. Refunds, less a $100 service charge, will be given for cancellations only if we can fill your space. We reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason. If the cancellation is made at the discretion of Canyons (ie, insufficient reservations), full refunds will be issued. In the rare event that Canyons is forced to cancel a trip for reasons beyond our control (ie, wildfires), no refunds will be issued. We strongly recommend that you obtain trip cancellation insurance. All participants will be required to sign an assumption of risk form and minors must have the signature of their parents or guardian.
FLIGHT OPTION ~ We can arrange for you to fly by small plane from Boise to either river at the beginning of the trip, and back to Boise at the trip's conclusion for an estimated cost of $400 per person. Due to widely fluctuating fuel costs, this price may be subject to change. Flights depart Boise at 7:30 AM on the day of your launch and return about 5:30 PM on the last day of your river trip. We'll meet you, and return you to, the McCall Air ticket counter inside the main Boise air terminal, near baggage claim on the ground level. Charter bus transportation is also included between airstrips and the river. Flights from other Idaho locations can be arranged. Please call for assistance and quotes.
DRIVE OPTION ~ Middle Fork guests can ride our charter bus to the put-in from Stanley, Idaho at 7 AM on the launch day. On the last day of the trip, our charter bus will drop guests in Salmon, Idaho around 3:30 PM. Bus transport to the put-in may not be an option for early season (extreme high water) or late summer (extreme low water) Middle Fork trips, in which case we may be required to fly in to the Indian Creek put-in at mile 25. Flights can be arranged from Stanley for a separate fee.
Main Salmon guests can ride our charter bus to the put-in from from Salmon, Idaho at 9:00 AM on the launch day. On the last day of the trip, our charter bus will drop guests in McCall, Idaho around 3:30 PM.
